A This Week in Texas magazine recommendation: It's 1958 in Paris, Texas. A dark time of racial unrest and prejudice across America. Teenagers Tommy and Dave are deeply in love and in the closet, till they are outed and forced to confront the town's hatred. A story of young Gay romance inspired by the 1961 hit song, "RUNAWAY, " written by Del Shannon and Max Crook.
