Okay Bear: Benny Bear's Okay-to-Be-Green Adventure - Paperback

by Poppy Greenwood (Author)

Benny Bear used to think he was just an ordinary brown bear.

Then one wobbly-kneed day, a very tall tree, a tumble into the grass, and a tiny glowing patch of green begin to change everything.

As Benny faces big feelings - fear, self-doubt, worry about changing - and chooses to say "OKAY!" and try again, his fur slowly turns greener and greener. Along the way, he helps a hurt little bird, leads a daring river rescue, and discovers that being brave and kind makes his whole forest shine.

Told in gentle, read-aloud rhyme with warm, colorful art, OKAY Bear gives kids a simple tool for hard moments: one little word that says "I can't... YET, and that's okay."

This uplifting picture book is perfect for:

-building growth mindset and resilience

-talking about big feelings and self-acceptance

-classrooms, bedtime, and social-emotional learning at home

Every wobble, every wonder, every "OKAY" helps kids grow a little greener too.
