Lionel - Cooperstown Cat Tales - Hardcover

by Susan L. Ferguson (Author), Janet L. Munro (Illustrator)

Tiny Lionel, the surprise runt of Momma Cat's litter of ten kittens, yearns for the opportunity to prove he is brave like his older brother, Scratcher. When a hungry, sly fox threatens his brothers and sisters, Lionel gets that chance.

Sisters, award-winning author, Susan L. Ferguson, and renowned folk artist, J.L. Munro, fascinate young minds with their original, heartwarming reimagining of the classic Brothers Grimm fairy tale, "The Wolf and Seven Young Goats".

Passed down from their German immigrant grandmother, the tale delighted the family's children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren through the years. Now, in its 30^th Anniversary Edition, they invite you to let "Lionel" enchant yours. The colorful folk-art paintings show many familiar Cooperstown scenes and help bring the story and its characters to life.

A fun book to read together, it's a special keepsake for parents, grandparents, children, cat lovers, and anyone who loves Cooperstown.
