Childhood Memories - Paperback

by Hans Wrang (Author)

In this collection of autobiographical excerpts, Hans Wrang recounts his upbringing on a Danish farm in Southern Jutland during the mid-20th century. The narrative details the rigours of agricultural life, from the peril of harvest storms and livestock losses to the evolution of farming machinery. Beyond the labour, the author captures the vibrant social fabric of his village, describing communal festivals, eccentric neighbours, and a local culture deeply rooted in Danish identity. Family history is a central theme, particularly the influence of his Polish grandmother and his father's ingenious methods for financial survival.
