Before After - Paperback

by Owen McLeod (Author)

A poignant exploration of life's paradoxes through contemporary poetry.

Before After delves into the complexities of existence, from the mundane to the profound. Owen McLeod's poems navigate the beauty and brutality of the world, where action figures coexist with alcoholism, and mental illness intertwines with moments of grace. Through vivid imagery and introspective verse, McLeod challenges our perceptions of thinking and feeling, sacred and profane, wellness and madness.

This collection invites readers to contemplate the human condition with wit and compassion. Discover a world where Jesus texts emojis from the cross, people sprout wings, and hearts are replaced by Platonic machines. Before After is a journey through the real and surreal, perfect for those seeking meaning and connection in a world of contrasts. Ideal for readers of contemporary poetry, philosophical verse, and anyone grappling with life's big questions.
