A Poetry Archive Volume 7: Five Seasons - 2016-2017 - Paperback

by Frank Prem (Author)

. . . my day lies just outside the window

where the plum tree has changed

from white into green

since last I looked

just yesterday . . .

A Poetry Archive Volume 7: Five Seasons, grew out of a simple Poem A Day project commenced in 2016 that eventually extended across sixteen months, becoming an extended practice in sustained attention, daily reflection, and the steady development of voice.

. . . I'm not in any way paranoid, no I'm not

but I believe the government is after my arse . . .

The collection includes a number of contemplative sequences, including the Axeman series, and marks the first emergence of what has become Prem's personal short-form practice: Seventeen Syllable Poetry.

. . . regrettably before he was able to complete

his sentence on the page

drastic measures became necessary . . .

Wild Arancini Press is delighted to bring you this wonderful journal of a poet's journey.
